This website is owned and managed by Jacqui Slade to exhibit, promote and sell her artwork. The website addresses ‘www.jacquisladeart.com’ and ‘www.jacquisladeart.co.uk’are referred to in these T&Cs as ‘Jacqui Slade Art’

 

By using Jacqui Slade Art you agree to abide by the terms and conditions as set out on this page and on this website. These terms and conditions apply to all artwork and products purchased from Jacqui Slade Art. Please print a copy of these terms and conditions for your records.

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Please note that these T&Cs do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

 

REGISTRATION

·         When placing an order it will be necessary to register and provide correct information. Any information collected about you is held in accordance with the Privacy & Security statement below.

·         Jacqui Slade is only allowed to accept orders from customers who are 18 years of age or older. If you are under the age of 18 and would like to make a purchase please ask an adult to place the order for you instead.

 

ACCURACY

·         Jacqui Slade has made every possible effort to ensure that the content of this website is accurate and up to date.  Jacqui reserves the right to amend any errors or omissions at her discretion and will endeavour to do so at the earliest opportunity.

·         Please be aware that the colours and appearance of artwork or products may vary slightly from the way they appear on the screen. The items have been photographed at a high resolution but are displayed on the website at a lower level to enable acceptable download times.

 

COPYRIGHT

·         The content of this website is protected by copyright and no part of the content including text or images should be copied, extracted or utilised in any way without the express permission of Jacqui Slade.

·         Please also be aware that Jacqui Slade retains the copyright in all artworks produced by her, whether or not the original artwork is sold or unsold.

 

CHANGES TO THE TERMS & CONDITIONS

Jacqui Slade reserves the right to change the Terms & Conditions from time to time, and post a new version on her website. The new version will take effect from the time of posting on the site.

 

PRICE AND AVAILABILITY

·         All prices (including any applicable taxes) are as specified beside the relevant artwork or product displayed in this website and exclude delivery charges unless otherwise stated. For details of the delivery charges, see the “DELIVERY” clause in these terms and conditions.

·         Prices, special offers and availability information are subject to change without notice. You will be advised of any changes to price, special offers and availability when you place an item in your shopping basket before you make a purchase.

 

ORDERS

Online

·         When you place an order online, you will have the opportunity to check the details of your order and correct any errors before placing the order.

·         When you place your order you are making an offer to buy.

·         You will be sent an e-mail (“ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ORDER”) confirming receipt of your order from PayPal. The ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ORDER is not acceptance of your offer.

·         If your offer has been accepted you will be contacted by Jacqui Slade via e-mail confirming the details of your order (“ORDER CONFIRMATION”). At this time your offer to buy will have been accepted and a legally binding contract will be formed and your artwork will be despatched to you.

Offline

·         If you would like to make an order and pay offline, please send an email to jacquisladeart@gmail.com with your order which should include details of the items ordered, price, your name, address, e-mail and telephone number together with a cheque.

·         When you send this letter you are making an offer to buy.

·         You will be sent an e-mail or letter (“ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ORDER”) confirming receipt of your order. The ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ORDER is not acceptance of your offer.

·         If your offer has been accepted you will be contacted by Jacqui Slade via e-mail or letter confirming that your offer has been accepted (“ORDER CONFIRMATION”). At this time your offer to buy will have been accepted and a legally binding contract will be formed and your artwork will be despatched to you.

 

PAYMENT OPTIONS

CREDIT/DEBIT CARD

Jacqui Slade does not have access to your debit/credit card details. Payment processing is carried out by PayPal and complies with the highest privacy regulations and the best encryption software in the industry - SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). You can tell the page is secure by the padlock icon being displayed on your browser. When making an on-line payment through PayPal you must also abide by the Terms & Conditions they give.

 

CHEQUES (OFF-LINE PAYMENT)

·         Cheques should be made payable to Jacqui Slade and be in Pounds Sterling from a UK bank.

·         Orders will be dispatched after your cheque has cleared and you have been notified that your order has been accepted.

·         Please print your name and address on the back of the cheque.

·         Cheques should be posted to Jacqui Slade at the address shown in your order confirmation.

 

ORDER CONFIRMATION

Your order confirmation will provide the following information:

·         Order reference number

·         Delivery name and address

·         Date of order

·         Item(s) ordered and prices

·         Grand total

·         Any special delivery notes you have requested

 

DELIVERY

·        Delivery is charged on an individual basis and standard delivery will be via a Tracked service. Please note that an extra delivery charge may be applicable for non-standard delivery.

·        If you would like a faster or alternative method of delivery, please contact Jacqui Slade to enquire.

·        Orders will be despatched within 10 (ten) working days (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays) and customers should allow up to 14 (fourteen) days for UK delivery (international delivery may take longer).

 

CANCELLATIONS

·         You may cancel from the day of the order and up to 14 (fourteen) working days after the day on which you receive the goods (this exceeds the statutory minimum of 7 days).

·         This right of cancellation does not apply to any goods which have been made to your specification or personalised.

·         If you wish to cancel you should e-mail jacquisladeart@gmail.com

·         You are required to give written notice of your cancellation of an order.

·         You will receive a full refund within 30 (thirty) days of cancellation in the same format that you paid for the goods i.e. either through PayPal by credit or debit card as applicable, or by cheque.

·         If the goods have already been despatched, you must handle them with reasonable care and they should be returned in their original condition at your own cost by courier, Special Delivery or equivalent. The goods to be returned should be wrapped securely in their original packaging. If the original packaging is not available similar packaging should be used to provide secure packaging for the transit of the goods.

·         Goods should be returned to Jacqui Slade at the address advised to you in response to your cancellation notice.

·         You should also include a note with details of your name, address and order number.

·         If the goods are not returned we will arrange collection and deduct the direct cost from the refund or charge these costs to you.

 

RETURNS POLICY

Jacqui Slade very much hopes you will be delighted with your purchase(s). However, in the unlikely event that you wish to return an item you may receive a full refund of your money within 30 (thirty) days of cancellation. Please follow the guidance under CANCELLATIONS above.

 

FAULTY GOODS

Jacqui Slade recommends that you check the condition of the goods you have ordered when delivered. Please notify Jacqui as soon as possible if you discover the goods are faulty. Your statutory rights as a consumer will apply to any entitlement to a refund, repair or exchange in relation to faulty goods. We will arrange for any faulty goods to be collected from you so that you do not incur any expenses.

 

MISCELLANEOUS

·         In the event Jacqui Slade is unable to comply with her obligations due to circumstances beyond her reasonable control, she will not be liable for such inability to comply with her obligations or resulting delays.

·         These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

·         All sales will be conducted in English.

·         This contract will not be filed.

PRIVACY COMMITMENT

Jacqui Slade is committed to protecting your privacy. She will only use the information that is collected about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).

 

INFORMATION

Information is collected about you for two reasons: firstly, to process your order and secondly, to provide you with the best possible service. By providing this information you consent to this information being used in the manner described in this privacy statement. The type of information collected about you includes your name, address, phone number and e-mail address. If at any time you would like to see the information we hold about you please e-mail Jacqui Slade at jacquisladeart@gmail.com

Jacqui will be happy to update her records as you wish. If there are any inaccuracies she will amend her records without delay. There is a charge of £10 for requests for personal information.

 

SAFE ORDERING

As part of the ordering process it is necessary to provide your name and address as well as a phone number; your address is required for delivery purposes and your phone number in case of a need to contact you.

·         The information held will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information held about you by emailing or writing to Jacqui Slade. If you find any inaccuracies Jacqui will delete or correct it promptly.

·         All personal information will be held securely in accordance with internal security policies and the law.

 

VISITOR STATISTICS

Jacqui Slade Art may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to this website. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you when you return to the website unless you modify your browser settings.

 

COMPLAINTS

·         Jacqui Slade aims to deliver the highest level of customer service. However, if you feel you would like to complain about any matter please e-mail Jacqui Slade at jacquisladeart@gmail.com

·         Jacqui will reply as soon as possible and in any case you will at least receive an acknowledgement within 5 (five) working days whilst working to resolve your complaint.

 

CUSTOMER SERVICES

·         If you have any query about an order please e-mail Jacqui Slade at jacquisladeart@gmail.com quoting your order reference number, or call her on 01737 844003. If Jacqui is unable to take your call you can leave a message on her answering machine. The cost of calling will be charged at local or national call rate depending on where you live and your telephone operator.

·         Jacqui Slade reviews her privacy policy regularly to ensure the security of her site and your data.

SENSITIVE PERSONAL DATA

Jacqui Slade Art neither collects nor has access to any 'sensitive personal data' as defined by the Data Protection Act 1998.

·         Cookies are pieces of information that are stored by your Internet browser on your computer's hard drive. Your browser ensures that cookies set by Jacqui Slade Art will only be visible to Jacqui Slade Art so no third party would be able to access them.

·         Cookies are necessary to be able to store items in your shopping basket during your shopping session.

 

PAYMENT SECURITY

·         When making purchases by credit/debit card you will be redirected to a PayPal server where Verisign 1024 bit encryption systems are used. At the browser 128 Bit SSL is used meaning your credit/debit card details are safe. For more information please see the PayPal website. Jacqui Slade does not have access to your credit/debit card information.

·         Jacqui Slade reviews her security policy regularly to ensure the security of her site and your data.
